What is the purpose of the slipmat?

As a reminder, vinyl slipmat is placed on the turntable platter, under the record.

It's used to :

• Reduce vibrations

• Protect the record from scratches

• Improve grip

• Enable DJ scratching (the record slides more easily)

• Add a decorative touch to your turntables and therefore your interior

Several slipmat patterns to choose from

We offer three types of slipmats, all at the same price of €15 in our online shop.

• Classic slipmat. This is our best seller, with a thickness of 2.5 mm.
• Fat slipmat. Like classic slipmat, it is white but slightly thicker (3 mm).
• Glazed slipmat. The same thickness as classic slipmat, it has a glossy underside to make it easier to attach with Velcro.

How should I care for my vinyl slipmat?

How often you clean slipmat depends on how long you use it for. But generally speaking, slipmat needs regular maintenance.

• Dusting: soft brush or lint roller

• Vacuum cleaner: low power setting

• Shake outdoors to remove dust

And sometimes more thorough cleaning may be required

• Hand wash only

• Warm water + mild soap

• Rinse gently

• Dry flat in the open air

• No machine washing, no spinning, no tumble drying
